Before you choose a date

Where is Prison Break Malta, and how do we arrange arrival?

The experience takes place at Kordin Old Military Prison in Paola (Raħal Ġdid), Malta. Arrive via The Pavilion Gastro Pub. Do not go to the Correctional Facility entrance. Follow the arrival instructions in your booking and confirm the arrival time and any access requirements with the events team before your visit.

Isn't Kordin a working prison?

Two different places in Paola share the Kordin name. MULTIMAXX Kordin is an open sports and entertainment complex in the historic Kordin Old Military Prison (also called the Old Royal Navy Prison) in Paola, Malta. Not Corradino Correctional Facility, Malta's working prison, which is closed to visitors. The separate historic complex is open to guests for booked activities, dining and events.

When is it open?

Activities and events run at any time of day or night, every day (24/7), with advance booking. The Pavilion restaurant: Tuesday–Friday 18:00–00:00, Saturday–Sunday 11:00–00:00; Monday by advance booking.

What group size can enquire?

Tell us your estimated group size. Groups below 20 can enquire about a suitable tailored format; other group sizes also receive a personal proposal. The team confirms the programme, availability and price for your group.

How do we request a date?

Use the group enquiry form with your preferred date, occasion, group size and contact email. Review and confirm the enquiry before sending it. The events team will reply with availability and a personal proposal; an enquiry does not reserve a date or take payment.

Is full participation required?

No. A non-active option can be discussed before booking.

What about sound, lighting or access requirements?

Tell us in your enquiry. We review the group’s requirements and confirm what can be accommodated.

Can we visit Kordin first?

Ask us about arranging a site visit.

What should people wear?

Dress guidance is confirmed with the final format. Tell us how formal you would like the evening to feel; we will confirm practical guidance with the organiser before the date.
